• Maintain and update CMP technology roadmap, future requirements and trends based on Voice of Customer (VoC) and market input gathered at strategic customers, industry conferences, standards meetings and symposiums. 
• Monitor and update emerging key (Logic and/or memory) device/integration trends and impacts on CMP applications in the same manner.
• Provide periodic roadmap and requirements updates to business, R&D and sales team. 
• Attend industry conferences as required.
• Provide technical marketing support for key new product introductions (NPIs). Analyze market requirements, competitive landscape and develop marketing and value selling strategies for NPIs.
• Actively support marketing initiatives for knowledge sharing and solution training – both internally and externally and as required to support key NPIs or related activity.
• Assist marketing director and relevant sales and R&D teams with the support of technical exchange meetings at key strategic customers and technical seminars
• Leverage information gathered to support VoC/technical roadmap/trends update effort
• Perform market assessment as needed by marketing and GBTs.
• Coordinate with the Marketing Communications Manager and the Product Marketing Lead – as required - to ensure that the appropriate technical, industry and marketing content is converted into marketing collateral or made available via web-site for access by sales force and/or customers
• Maintain capability to engage customers - as needed to support Sales Team - in support of key NPI activities, value selling and regional personnel needs.
• Support regional marketing events – Semicon show, Customer Seminar, CMP User group, and  conference activities. 

• Advanced degree ( PhD / Masters) in engineering discipline preferred
• Ten plus years of semiconductor experience, including specific fab related technical and/or applications experience involving CMP or related process technology area.
• Working experiences on leading-edge memory (DRAM and/or NAND flash) technology is essential
• Experience with product, technology and/or commercial strategy development
• A track record of communicating the possible implications of technical developments to a wide variety of audiences is preferred
