Job Title                   Product & Application Development

Major Accountability

• Develop and introduce new products and applications of responsibility to key business area based on input from market, customer needs and ute and coordinate the technology activities within the company in order to ensure the company’s business plan in terms of product development related in market pull items as well as technology push items

• Manage and support product and application within the assigned application segments and product portfolio, as well as technology know-how transfer and provide technical support to assigned customers in line with defined service levels and build a close technical and personal relationship in cooperation with account and key account managers in order to provide highest customer satisfaction

• Gather necessary technical and market know-how to contribute to continuous development of best in class – fit for purpose product range and maintaining excellent application know-how

• Support and provide technical marketing (presentations, brochures, flyers, seminars) and market communication. Demonstrate innovation capabilities and an outstanding customer orientation and market/trend knowledge

• Act as leader or coordinator for the technical issue for development grades as well as improvement and/or development of value added *** products

Qualification

• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience (R&D, product/application development, technical service, technical marketing)

• Expert knowledge of polymer structures, additives, catalyst, process and product application

• General knowledge of business flow and ***  industry value chain

• Demonstrated competence in customer relations

• Excellent communication (verbal and written) both in English and Korean, organization, problem resolution, and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree required
