Electric powertrain technology scouting and requirements management

As a part of the newly created R&D Satellite in Korea, the local representative of Powertrain Lab in Korea has the primary goal:
- to perform trend scouting: collect and aggregate/summarize overall regulatory and market trends for electric powertrains
- to manage requirements: define market-specific requirements for electric powertrains both on customer perception and regulatory level
- to do technology screening & scouting: keep track of the value chain of local e-powertrain suppliers and OEM, support specific in-depth research request

【 지원자격 】

-. 4년제 학사 이상(자동차 공학, 전기, 기계 공학 등 ) 석.박사 선호

-. 5 years working experience in automotive engineering, preferably in the field of electric powertrain development

-. Technical experience in one of the components:  electric motor, Li-ion battery, high-voltage power electronics, overall electric powertrain
by doing one of the following (or similar) activities: design, simulation, testing, quality assurance, industrialization, production planning, purchasing

-. Basic knowledge about general automotive technology and conventional powertrain architecture

-. Advanced knowledge about electric powertrain architectures, as:
 Li-Ion battery technology, Li-Ion cell chemistry
 Electric motors (ASM, PSM, SRM, Brush-Motor)
  Power electronics (B6-inverter-, buck-/boost-converter-, transformer- and rectifier-topologies)
 Electric vehicle powertrain architectures (HEV, PHEV, BEV, BEV-Range-Extender)

-. Knowledge about Korean supplier landscape in the field of NEV

-. Fluent English and Korean language skills. Additional language skills in Chinese, German or Japanese would also be welcome
