Tasks and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement and communicate best-practice facility management practices throughout the country and share knowledge and findings with other countries.

 • Undertake periodic supplier reviews based on feedback from sites and conduct periodic audits of supplier performance.

 • Represent the country facility management function at both local and global level

 • Responsible for effective Energy management according to IKEA Global standards

. • Produce and distribute periodic reports on performance of facility management services against operational and budget plans, and when required participate in annual global facility management cost benchmarking.

• Ensure all sites create, implement and actively manage annual operational and budget plans to enable all aspects of the building and grounds (facilities, building structures, assets and systems) to be maintained to agreed standards within agreed costs and timeframes.

• Ensure the Facility Management plan supports the achievement of the agreed goals for my Country.

• Set goals on the global and agreed KPIs focusing on key measures.

• Control costs by working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using good examples and encouraging my team and colleagues to discover more effective ways of working.
