Our client is looking for a CTO, Head of R&D Center(PhD.) (부사장) who will lead their R&D Center, H.Q. 

The total compensation package including performance incentive will be US$ 700,000 to 1,000,000 depending on the experience and qualification.

(Signing Bonus is additional, if necessary)

For the successful candidate who will be relocated to Seoul, the expatriate package including housing accommodation will be provided additionally.

The brief information about the position is as under :

[Role & Responsibility]

- Secure platform technology to develop market-leading products on global basis.

- Strengthen SW development capacity for B2B business and innovative product development.

- Secure global SW development infra-structure and AI platform to enhance competitiveness of product development to keep sustainable growth engine.

[Qualification Required]

- Deep knowledge on SW development required to produce world class leading product and services

 - Understand the current global trend of SW development for product application and upgrade company-wide SW development capability to set the short-mid-long term strategies

- Implement SW development process innovation to establish a solid product leadership position in the global market

 - Understand SW element technology such as artificial intelligence, web, kernel, and security

 - Establish global SW development collaboration eco-system with overseas R&D institutes to select right investment sectors strategically

 - Ability to proactively grasp major issues related to SW development and integrate various internal resources and capabilities within the company to maximize its productivity

 - Has excellent negotiation skills with major business entities and overseas R&D institutes and contractors

 - Ability to foster SW experts and create an environment where they can exercise their capabilities fully under the creative and autonomous R&D center culture

 [Ideal Candidate Profile]

- More than 20 years of S/W development experience

- More than 10 years of Head of R&D Center or Product Development Team Leader

- Fluent in English and Korean speaking and writing

- Good existing networking with the leaders of R&D centers in the America, Europe and Asia
